Do you have a loop programme enabled hearing device and live in the Nottingham area?

Aug 19, 2016

We are looking for people to support a tram testing event later this month.

The Ear Foundation and Ampetronic are holding an event on the 31st August for a group of hearing aid, cochlear implant and BAHA users to test the Hearing Loop systems on-board the NET Trams and report and record their experience.

We’re looking for a small group of volunteers to make a quick round trip of around 12 stops from the Queens Medical Centre Stop at approx. 11:30am (a short walk from the Ear Foundation) using the Hearing Loops installed on-board the new trams. We’ll then return to the Ear Foundation for a lunch sponsored by Ampetronic.

Your experience will be recorded and we’ll ask you a few questions about it that will form the basis of a short video and report that will be sent to consultants and policy advisors – and hopefully help improve equality of access to public transport for people with hearing loss.

If you would like to take part please contact Sarah at Sarah at The Ear Foundation
